Wow. So you all know by now that a good actor passed away earlier today.

Although I disliked the first Christian Bale-as-Batman film mostly because Katie Holmes' acting was so god awful, I will definitely catch Ledger's final performance. When I was a teenager the Punisher and Batman were my favorite comic heroes because they didn't have any superhuman abilities. I don't think that anyone can top Jack Nicholson's performace in the '89 Batman film, which in my estimation was the greatest comic movie ever. However, I like Bale and Ledger's "darker" approach. This film certainly appears promising.
