I discuss the Iraq disaster rarely. When people who opposed the war since the chimp proposed it discuss it we seem as if we are self-righteous assholes. Also, I believe that it is now a deathtrap for bloviating pieces of white trash. It's unworthy of discussion because people who could stop it tomorrow are volunteering to die for it and perpetuate it. Hey, more power to them.

But since I found this op ed that I wrote during December '02 for a Michigan newspaper I can't resist displaying it to as many people as possible.
