America: Nation of Retards

Today when I logged onto the "INTERNAYTS" this morning, I read an article headline on Yahoo's frontpage that was titled something along the lines of, "Chuck Norris: McCain too old." I thought that it was something that I might see on a slow news day. So then when I was in the gym I overheard CNN broadcast something about it on the ceiling-mounted TVs. The last straw occured a few minutes ago when I was listening to CBS radio in the car. They broadcast it on the brief hourly news report, which is usually reserved for something that is... uuuh, important.

Look, as the late, great Bill Hicks said, you know that America is a nation of 8th graders because Full House was such a mega-success. But this phenemenon is crossing the line:

A C-List (at best) actor is garnering almost as many headlines as the politician he is supporting. I know that Chuck has an enormous cult youth following, especially on the internet, but... Jesus, people... Stop killing me.

And obviously the Huckabee campaign believes that the guy is an enormous asset to it, which is why he is pictured with him at every turn, not only in this photo.
Hell, they share the same theocratic beliefs:

.. and they both make me want to start the genocide machine here.
