Update about the last piece I posted about the Michael Jackson album: apparently the guy who supposedly claimed that he faked MJ's voice claims that his account was hacked. Dead story.
Anyway, last night I saw an unbelievably awesome ad during the Golden Globes:
I love the quotation, "I would rather fail doing this than succeed at doing anything else."
THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is called INSANITY.
AND. I. LOVE. IT.
In order to succeed at this game one needs that obsessive, narrow focus on the target. My love for filmmaking began during 1990 when my best friend Toby's mom bought tickets for Goodfellas for us then drove away. It was the first rated R movie I had ever seen, and it caused me to make a transition from apathy or outright antipathy toward films to fascination about them.
