Morning Joe

This morning I was essentially tortured for a few hours by Morning Joe on MSNBC as I did chores.
The meme this morning from some of Joe's Republican guests: Obama is encouraging terrorists to attack America because he doesn't regard the threat seriously. Mayor Giuliani actually claimed that when Obama discouraged the use of the phrase "war [against] terror" he emboldened fundamentalist Muslims.

My response to those Republican guests: Hey, morons, there is a reason why they are FUNDAMENTALIST MUSLIMS. A bit of rhetoric doesn't matter a tinker's damn to them. They are INSANE.

As followers of this blog know, I didn't blame the chimp for 9/11/01. I didn't blame Clinton. I cited a systemic failure in the intelligence community, as Obama blamed the christmas day incident on a systemic failure yesterday as he accepted the blame (unnecessary) as well.
BUT, hey morons, if you are going to blame a single person for an averted incident, let's blame a single person for the worst terrorist strike in our history. Apparently the chimp didn't regard the threat seriously... or something. Maybe he ate a biscuit for breakfast instead of scrambled eggs or he opened an umbrella indoors that day-- something CRAZY that signaled to fundamentalists that it was fine to attack us. Oh, and what about the shoe bomber? Obviously the monkey was probably on one of his 4,323,665 vacations that day. It's really the sole cause of the violence-- the things that a single man does.
And while we are on the subject, what matters more to muslim lunatics-- eliminating the phrase "war against terror" or the catastrophic, symbolic opening scene of the 21st century?
