Terrorism is an inherently political label, easily abused and misused.

Let’s be clear: There is no legal authority for designating a domestic group. Any such designation would raise significant due process and First Amendment concerns. https://t.co/SJpT7sHs4p
When the ACLU condemned the government overreach during the early years of this century post-9/11 I supported them because they made sane counterarguments against the surveillance and police state.
I now regret funding that organization during my youth-- probably to the tune of $100 total.
I've posted stories and video clips of my own multiple experiences with police harassment on this blog. When they stalked me by helicopter almost nightly I drove to the ACLU office in downtown Los Angeles, filled out thirty minutes worth of paperwork, then explained my situation to a black man who literally scowled at me.
Several weeks and no reply later, I visited their site. One of their pages explained to me basically that if I wasn't a multiracial person who was "transitioning" my gender then I shouldn't bother to even contact them. They implied that they wanted only minorities' problems. I implored them to at least recommend a lawyer to me if there was 0% chance that they were going to represent me. Zero reply.
They are clearly interested in pressing an agenda, not justice for all.
So, fuck you, ACLU. When you sent letters soliciting money from me, I replied immediately even when I couldn't really afford it.
I hope that federal authorities will launch a roto rooter inspection against you soon.
