When I first saw Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in "Iron Man 2" I wasn't sold on her or her character. But then again, that sequel is just a bad movie anyway.
She was much more endearing in "Captain America: Winter Soldier" and subsequent movies. There was obvious chemistry between her and Chris Evans/Captain America, and I wanted film makers to build on that chemistry. Unfortunately, they spun them off in other directions.
I have realized that Scarlett is just as sexy and mysterious as the character herself, so she is perfect for the part.
If "Endgame" caused you to think that a solo project for Black Widow is doomed, don't worry. A lot of sites are reporting that the buzz for it is resurging.
