
The first time I met Henry Rollins he was in a Hollywood record store during Record Store Day. Ironically, he looked completely out of place and anxious.
Last night I met him again at a book store. He seemed as if he was completely in his element.
He promoted his new book. I recommend it.

I disagree with Mr. Rollins about a few things, some of which I have mentioned on this blog. But for the most part he is an extremely worldly and knowledgable man. I agree with him 90% of the time.
Last night I asked him, "Do you believe that the Occupy Wall Street movement lacks focus, and do you believe that it should have a single goal? I believe that it's sort of sputtering without a clear purpose."
His response: "No. The moment there is one guy giving marching orders and they're all following in lock-step then I'm worried."
Of course I disagree with this assessment, and I believe that this video represents what should be the clear, underlying purpose of the movement at this point:
