Perhaps the most noticeable thing about the Massachusetts senatorial election aside from the fact that it bodes like a fortune teller flipping a grim reaper-illustrated card out of a deck IS THAT it represents the fourth time that Obama has attempted to push a candidate to victory and failed utterly.
People are trying to explain the factors that contributed to Brown's victory: Coakley was very lazy, Brown is handsome, Massachusetts voters don't care about a national health care plan as much as they care about jobs, etc.
I think the one thing that stands out to me most is something that MSNBC's Chuck Todd said: Obama's "change" has not been delivered. People are not better off than they were two years ago. Call it "impatience;" call it "practicality." I call it "fact."
