These days we hear a lot of bullshit about energy-- "NUCLEAR ENERGY IS THE ONLY WAY!" morons tell us.
Well, if the Chernobyl disaster and the Three Mile Island incident weren't enough proof that human beings should not be trusted with nuclear power, I want to introduce/remind you of Karen Silkwood.
Look, nuclear power is a sad artifact of the '50s. We thought we could handle it. We can't. For god's sake, this nation re-elected a monkey for president only 5 year ago.
There is a reason why it went out of popularity quickly during the last several decades: it is insanity. Do not resurrect it.
Let's focus our attention on harnessing the wind and solar energy. We have the technology. Let's fund it.
