I've read so many biographies (and an autobiography) about iconic figures whose roots were from Motown that, to me, Michael Jackson will always be "the kid from Indiana who never quite grew up."
I remember his music distinctly because my most formative years were in the '80s, but I didn't realize that he was obviously stuck in a state of arrested development until I was older.
I recommend this collection to you. It's affordable, great and comprehensive, but it lacks this song, which you might want to download seperately.
