Random thoughts about Saint Patrick's Day:
Do I really have to suffer through a headline that reads, "Presidnet Obama is Irish" only to read that he is actually 3% Irish? Lindsay Lohan, Dennis Leary and I have more of Ireland in one strand of our hair than he has in his whole body. No offense. I'm just tired of the bullshit.
Speaking of Leary, I disagree totally with his assertion that this day is "for amateurs." I understand why he is jaded and angry about the Polish, Danish, English, etc. who celebrate this day regardless of their heritage.. But come on, Dennis. We should all get wasted during this great time. I'm three Guinesses in, my man. Why ruin the buzz?
