Stop the Palin obsession.

I have never expressed my beliefs about Sarah Palin prior to this entry. Allloooowwww me to do so.
I do not believe that she is as moronic as people portray her, yet she probably is not smart enough to be the president. I actually believe that she is slightly smarter than the White House's current simian occupant.. as scary as that might seem. The monkey recently called Martin Scorsese "Martin Sarkozy"... and didn't correct himself afterward.

But... Have we ever seen a media obsession with a failed vice presidential candidate that rivals the obsession that we have experienced for Palin during the last few weeks? Wait. Forget "failed VP candidate." Have we ever seen such an obsession for a successful VP candidate? I suspect that at least five times more TV and print stories have been produced about Palin than Biden during the last few weeks. I don't remember Quayle, Gore or (especially not) Cheney receiving this level of attention.

It's time to confess, America: you want to have an orgy with Palin serving as the thin slice of turkey in the middle.
