"Waaah! They aren't covering Edwards after the Iowa Caucus!"

This might explain why they have focused on other candidates, as well as the fact that his "grassroots efforts" have failed (read: "he didn't raise nearly as much money as Obama and HRC").

Look, we all knew that whoever won the Iowa caucus was going to be the media darling until the New Hampshire primary, and we knew that for Edwards Iowa was a "win or bust" situation. He lost. If Obama doesn't win the nomination Edwards' political career is finished. There is a remote possibility that if Obama wins it he might choose him as his V.P. candidate.

I don't know why he would choose him, though. During the '04 election, Edwards failed to win his own county, let alone his state, let alone ANY "borderline" southern territory. Also, according to some reports he refused to play the traditional role of a VP candidate for John Kerry.

Loo-hoo-sa-her.
